Typing Scores

My typing scores have improved drastically since the beginning of the year. I think that over the summer I kind of just lost my ability so I was getting scores like 17 WPM. But after I practiced more I have gotten my scores back to how they were last year and right now I am at 31 WPM with 88% accuracy! I am really happy with my scores. My goal for typing is to improve my accuracy. Before today, I was barely making the required 85% and I was really upset about that. To achieve this goal I will work on slowing down and hitting the correct keys, therefore, I can speed up again and have a higher accuracy! Next week is the "blind" test and I think I will pass with an above average WPM (29-32) and about 85% to %89 percent accuracy if I keep practicing. I am really excited to see how my score turns out!!

Future Artifact

My future artifact is Milkyairways. It is an airplane that can travel in space. I created this because I think that in the future, it would be a lot of fun to have normal airplanes that can fly in space. So that you could just go on vacation to Jupiter or any other planet. I believe that in the future there will be something like this. To do this project, I took a picture of a plane, and a picture of space. I extracted the plane from it's original backround and placed it into the space backround. Then I made minor adjustments to the plane's lighting so that is matched the space backround. I then placed "Milkyairways" onto the side of the plane where it's previous label once was. If I could change it I would make the text bigger and more readable. This was a really fun project to do and I really enjoyed it.

A project that a classmate of mine did that I thought was a really good idea was this one.
It is a tree that can grow anything you want it to like clothes, money, e.t.c. I like it because that is a really good idea and I would love to have a tree that grew anything!!! Courtney used extracting and pasting into a new backround, similar to what I did.

I would love to have a product like this, though I do not think it will be invented over my lifetime unless some scientist finds out how to combine clothing fibers with a seed of a tree or something but that is highly unlikely. If this product was available, I would definately buy it!! It would drastically change the lives of those who bought this product because they wouldn't have to spend money when they went shopping. You would just go get stuff of your tree!

Tutorial 2: Make Grafitti with adobe photoshop

I did the tutorial "Make Grafitti with adobe photoshop" here to learn how to put words on something and make it look realistic. This will help me because I want to put words on my plane in space and I want to make it look realistic.

Tutorial 1: Lighting a giant elephant

I did this tutorial "Lighting a Giant Elephant" here to learn how to change the lighting of an object. This will be really helpful because my artifact of the future is a plane in space and I will have to change the lighting of the plane, in order for it to look realistic.

Artifact From the Future

I chose this Artifact because I thought it was funny. They haven't discovered how to do mechanical operations at a hospital, much less a home. I actually do believe that in the future there will be some sort of thing like this but I don't know who would trust a machine to make a heart transplant or to operate on your back.
